The School of Canadian Studies is Carleton University’s locus of Canadian Studies. Important and urgent issues facing our society today intersect here.
Majoring in Canadian Studies allows students to develop interdisciplinary expertise. A minor in Canadian Studies is also an invaluable complement to a major in any traditional discipline. Minors are also available in Quebec Studies or Heritage and Conservation.
If you are interested in advanced studies in these areas, the School offers graduate programs at the Master’s and PhD levels. This includes a possible concentration in heritage conservation.
