DAAD’s Research Stays program supports scholars working in all disciplines at Canadian institutions of higher education and who wish to pursue research at universities, libraries, archives, institutes or laboratories in Germany. Grants are issued for stays of between one and three months in length. The next deadline for this program is May 15, 2018.
Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) individual Fellowships
MSCA Individual Fellowships support the mobility of experienced researchers (with PhD or at least four years of research experience). The Fellowships provide North American researchers an opportunity to conduct research at a university, research institute or company in Europe.

The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) supports 5-month internships at the German Bundestag, the country’s federal parliament.
Applicants must hold Canadian citizenship, have a university degree and very good knowledge of the German language.
The deadline is June 30, 2018.

DAAD at Goethe-Institut Toronto
DAAD will be at the Goethe-Institut Toronto (100 University Avenue, 2nd Floor) between 5:30 and 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 8th to consult on our suite of scholarship and grant programs or to discuss issues related to pursuing degree studies in Germany.
