Virtual MOU Signing Ceremony

Dr. Benoit-Antoine Bacon, President and Vice-Chancellor of Carleton University and Mr. Enrique Luis Insfrán Miranda, Vice Minister of Administration and Technical Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Carleton’s first virtual MOU signing ceremony celebrated on September 4, 2020. The accord aims at establishing future initiatives including training of diplomats from Paraguay at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) in the form of short professionally oriented online courses. The Carlos Antonio López Diplomatic and Consular Academy is the education arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay (Asunción) in charge of training diplomatic and administrative officials.
