Every year, students from various countries seeking to apply for a research visit at Carleton under a Global Affairs Canada scholarship program (Emerging Leaders in the Americas or Study in Canada Scholarships) contact Carleton International for projects to work on.
If you have a project and would like to host one of these ambitious and eager students for 4-6 months, please get in touch with Sylvie Jasen for more information. We can pass along your project information to interested students or put you in touch with students in an appropriate field. Note that the program competitions open in January and hosts must provide an invitation letter for the student’s application. The deadline is in March and visits can start between September 2025 and February 2026. Successful applicants are fully funded for the whole visit and no financial commitment is required from faculty members.
