Universidade do Minho in Portugal invites Carleton students, faculty, and/or staff to apply for a visit to UMinho for research, teaching, or training under the UMOVE(ME) Erasmus+ KA 171 International Mobility 2023 project. The program offers three funded mobility flows for Canadian partners, as outlined below.

Opportunities Available

For one student, at the graduate level, in any field:

  • For a 4 month research visit
  • Can start February or September 2025 and must take place before July 2026

For two staff (faculty and/or administrative): 

  • For 5 working days + 2 days of travel
  • Can take place anytime between September 2024 and July 2026
  • Teaching staff must commit to at least 8 hours of teaching

Funding

Students receive a paid monthly allowance and travel costs up to a certain amount. Staff receive a paid daily allowance and travel costs up to a certain amount.
