Dr. Kate Cornell
Senior Advisor, Strategic Communications
Dr. Kate Cornell is a passionate advocate for the charitable sector, specializing in strategic communications, government relations, and cross-sectoral partnerships. Her leadership roles have included Executive Director of a national arts service organization, Director of Research and Training at Aftermetoo, and Interim Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at Imagine Canada. Dr. Cornell has lectured extensively across post-secondary institutions and teaches part-time in the Arts Management program at the University of Toronto – Scarborough. In addition, Cornell is a Principal Consultant at Purposeful partners, where she supports progressive organizations on workplace policies, communications, and funding. Kate is pleased to work with CICP as a Senior Advisor focused on strategic communications.
