Dr. Kate Cornell
Communications & Content Specialist
Dr. Kate Cornell is a passionate advocate for the charitable sector, specializing in strategic communications, government relations, and cross-sectoral partnerships. Her leadership roles have included Executive Director of a national arts service organization, Director of Research and Training at Aftermetoo, and Interim Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at Imagine Canada. Dr. Cornell has lectured extensively across post-secondary institutions and currently teaches in the Arts Management program at the University of Toronto Scarborough. She is pleased to join Charity Insights as Communications Specialist focused on expanding the CICP’s reach. In addition, Cornell is the Principal Consultant at Purposeful, where she supports and advises progressive organizations such as the Indigenous Screen Office and the Toronto Arts Council.
