The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice congratulates Evan Shipp, a fourth year Honours Criminology student, on his recent Chief of Police Commendation from the Brantford Police Service.

While working his summer job as a Park Patroller, Evan was on patrol with Sgt. James Sawkins of the Brantford Police. They responded to a call for a road rage incident involving a firearm. In speaking with ICCJ staff about the incident, Sgt. Sawkins commented “I am very thankful for PP SHIPP’s initiative, judgement and control during this stressful incident.”
