CRIW is deeply saddened by the hit and run attack in London, Ontario that took the lives of four family members, which police say were targeted because of their Muslim faith. Our thoughts are with the victims and all of those affected by this senseless violent act, especially the surviving nine-year-old boy who has been robbed of his family. CRIW joins the Muslim community and residents of London in mourning and condemns this violent act. Once again, we as Canadians are made keenly aware of the racial realities within our country and we are reminded of the importance of an inclusive society where everyone can feel safe and welcome.
