Marie-Lucie Morin is an exceptional leader with front-rank experience. She currently serves with various public and not-for profit organizations as Corporate Director. These include the Security and Intelligence Review Committee (since May 2015), the Asia Pacific Foundation, Genome Québec, and the Trudeau Foundation. She has also excelled as Canadian Director at the World Bank (2010-2013), as National Security Advisor, as Deputy Minister for International Trade and as a diplomat around the world (Ambassador to Norway and Iceland; earlier postings in San Francisco, Jakarta, London, Moscow). She is the recipient of numerous awards, including as member of the Order of Canada and the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
Speaking on ‘A life on the front lines of public and private organizations’, she will talk about some of the global issues and opportunities facing Canada. A wife and mother of four, she will also share with us her perspectives on balancing a public and private life.
