Also known as “lightning talks,” a datablitz is a series of very short presentations, given at a conference or similar event, delivered by several different people during a single session.
On April 19 we’ll be kicking the day off with a datablitz, during which time we will display, one by one, the collection of slides submitted by you and other workshop participants during the registration process. When your slide appears, you’ll have an opportunity to stand, introduce yourself, and speak for two to three minutes about your research needs and challenges. The goal here will be to get to know each other and what everybody is working on.
