  1. Jace Nair is the CEO of Blind SA. Headquartered in Johannesburg, Blind SA has had a significant influence in advocating the rights of the blind throughout South Africa. Besides his current role, Jace has held several notable positions in the past, such as Secretary of SA Disability Alliance, President of African Union of the Blind, and Africa Representative of WBU.
  2. Shilpaa Anand is an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the BITS-Pilani Hyderabad Campus in India. She has a PhD in Disability Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MA in English from the University of Hyderabad. Her research interests include literary and cultural disability studies, the historiography of disability and culturally different concepts of corporeality.
  3. Alexis Padilla is a disabled Latinx lawyer, sociologist and educator currently affiliated as visiting professor with the University of MO St. Louis. Dr. Padilla’s teaching and publications privilege actionable dimensions of antiracist anti-ableism, decolonial disability, agentic intersectionality and disability justice.
