EERL is looking for talented M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. students to join our team. Our research group leads a range of world-class interdisciplinary projects to quantify and minimize methane and other pollutant emissions in Canada and globally. These projects span areas of emissions measurement, technology development, methane inventory analysis, and climate policy analysis.
We are assembling a team to tackle a variety of projects including:
- the development and operation of advanced measurement equipment (sensors, drones, etc.),
- large-scale experiments to quantify emissions,
- field work with government and industry partners,
- application of advanced data analytics to support the development of measurement-based pollutant inventories,
- and techno-economic analysis to support new regulatory policy and drive mitigation.
Our collaborative approach involves working with other students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, faculty members, industry partners and government agencies. We are proud to create impactful, insightful results with real-life applications to foster science, policy-making, business and society.
