
Cornelius Liburd is a research associate with the Energy and Emissions Research Lab. He completed his M.A.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in 2025 and his B.Eng in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in 2022 . His M.A.Sc. research focused on the design, development, and testing of an autonomous UAV. Cornelius’ role with the EERL will involve developing payloads to support UAV-based methane detection and measurements.
