
Jorge Rangel is EERL’s Co-op Research Assistant, supporting UAV hardware readiness, sensor integration, and ground-control systems for methane emissions measurement campaigns. He is pursuing a degree in Biomedical & Electrical Engineering at Carleton University and has a strong skillset in embedded systems, sensor integration, and UAV systems. Through this hands-on experience, Jorge is particularly interested in applying embedded electronics and communications systems to real-world environmental monitoring, emissions detection and measurement.
