Joseph McConkey holds a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics with a Computing option from Queen’s University and is pursuing an M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Carleton University. As part of the EERL, his research focuses on measurement and uncertainty in methane emissions using aerial and UAV-based sensing approaches. His work includes the development and integration of supporting instrumentation and data-processing systems for UAV platforms, enabling reliable atmospheric measurements under real-world operating conditions. His research interests include instrumentation, measurement uncertainty, and applied sensing systems.
