Dr. Ramy H. Gohary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering. His research interests include machine-to-machine communications, Internet-of-Things, analysis and design of MIMO wireless communication systems, applications of convex optimization and differential geometry in signal processing and communications, information-theoretic aspects of multiuser communication systems, cooperative communications, number-theoretic applications in communications, fairness and cross-layered designs, distributed antenna systems, embedded systems applications for wireless communication, and applications of iterative detection and decoding techniques in multiple antenna and multiuser systems.
He is the principal investigator on three Ericsson-Carleton Strategic Partnership projects:
- Design and Analysis of Self-Healing Power-Efficient 5G+ Wireless Networks
- Spatial and Temporal Prediction of Wireless Communication Channels
- for 5G Communication Systems
- Channel Propagation Study
