Yasser Al-Eryani

Yasser Al-Eryani was born in Sana’a, Yemen. He received his PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.

He received a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from IBB University, Ibb, Yemen in 2012 and received a MSc degree in telecommunications engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, KSA in 2016.

He is currently working as a 5G Baseband System Developer in Ericsson Canada.

He has several issued and submitted patents, transactions and conference papers in cooperative communications, cognitive radio, optical wireless communication and energy harvesting and has participated and presented in many international conferences in related research topics. His research interests are design and analysis of wireless communication networks.
