Advancing the joint estimation of Direction of Arrival (DoA) and Number of Sources (NoS) in Hybrid Analog and Digital (HAD) beamforming architectures, crucial for 5G and other wireless communication applications. Exploring innovative approaches using multi-linear algebra and Bayesian learning methods to improve accuracy, considering different antenna arrays and receiver configurations. The outcomes will enhance DoA and NoS estimation in hybrid analog and digital beamforming architectures, benefitting 5G and other wireless network applications.
