An education in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences prepares students for their careers by helping them to develop several critical employability skills for the modern workforce. Students can hone these skills by entering the Co-operative Education program, which combines traditional, in-class education with hands-on experience. Co-op students alternate study terms at Carleton with four, eight, twelve or sixteen-month work terms.
