Huynh Ngoc Hong Nhung

Can Tho Association of People with Disabilities, Vietnam

Nhung Huynh is an advocate for disability inclusion and education in Vietnam. After earning a Bachelor of Pedagogy in English from Can Tho University in 2000, she became an active member of the Can Tho Club of People with Disabilities (now the Can Tho Association of People with Disabilities). Her work focuses on expanding educational and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, particularly youth in the Mekong Delta region.

Supported by a Ford Foundation International Fellowship, Nhung completed a Master of Science in Regional and Rural Development Planning at the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) from 2006 to 2008. In 2013, she was awarded an Australian Leadership Awards Fellowship for training in “Enabling Social Inclusion: Gender and Disability Responsive Good Governance” at Flinders University in South Australia.
