Researching the job market takes time and effort, but the information you gather is crucial for success. In this workshop you will learn about the academic, alt-ac, and non-academic job markets and how you are positioned in relation to each as a graduate student, as well as methods you can use to “start where you are” and begin exploring your employment options.
