Job Hunting from Posting to Interview

Locate a job posting, create an effective résumé, and ace that sought-after interview. Sounds like a straight-forward process, yet most struggle to even get started. This workshop will go over some common and some not-so-common ways to find job postings online and in person, teach you how to create an effective résumé, and highlight effective ways to prepare for an interview. Whether you have yet to look for your first job or have already experienced multiple interviews, there’s something for everyone to be found in this workshop.
Learning Outcomes:
- Familiarize yourself with tools you can use to locate job postings.
- Learn how to craft an effective résumé.
- Review how to effectively prepare for an interview.

All graduate students are welcome. If you are a TA, this session counts toward voluntary paid training hours, provided that you are working as a TA in the term when the training takes place.
