Citation Management – Using Zotero

This interactive workshop will give participants an overview of the importance of citation management and the skills to manage citations and bibliographies using Zotero, a free reference management tool. Participants will engage in hands-on activities designed to give a working knowledge of Zotero’s key functions, like managing and organizing a library of references, annotating PDFs, and inserting citations and bibliographies in word processing programs. The 3 hour timeframe includes plenty of time for questions and trying the software independently.

All graduate students and postdocs are welcome. If you are a TA, this session counts toward voluntary paid training hours, provided that you are working as a TA in the term when the training takes place.
For those registered in the Trajectories program, attendance at this workshop counts toward one of the required workshops for the Research Management non-credit Trajectories certificate.
