Research Associate
Degrees: | M.Eng. |
Ghanim was a research associate at the Geoengineering Research Group. He was the lead engineer in developing and testing our recently invented adsorptive filter for water and wastewater treatment (Grafta). He holds a master degree from the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Carleton University in Geotechnical Engineering. His master work was on performance of Biocovers in mitigation of methane emission from landfills. He has developed column specimens simulating a profile of cover system in a landfill, and exposed them to methane migration to examine the ability of compost-based biocover on methane oxidation.
He works in industry in the UAE.
