PhD project: Seismic soil-structure interaction pile supported bridges in soft clay
Hooman was a PhD candidate at GRG and worked on seismic site response and soil-structure interaction in soft soils. He has developed two numerical models of seismic soil-foundation-structure interaction for shallow and pile foundations in soft clay, which are published in Journal of Computers and Geotechnique and Journal of Soil Dynamics. He was successfully graduated from Carleton University and currently works as a lead geotechnical engineer in Wood’s Group.
