Stability analysis of highway embankments in permafrost
This project aims at investigation the stability and performance of highway embankments in permafrost. The project focus will be on investigating the impact of the road on ground temperatures (through its modification of snow cover on the sides of the embankment) and on how such changes influence the strength of the adjacent and underlying permafrost.
