Discover Technata Hacks Presented by Ottawa Climate Action Fund

Kanata North technology hub, a globally significant innovation ecosystem in the heart of the nation’s capital, is leading a new wave of collaboration in-order to transform the 1970’s industrial business park to a complete and connected living lab community of over 500 businesses and 33,000 employees.

Together with The Ottawa Climate Action Fund (OCAF) we are thrilled to launch the fourth annual Discover Technata Hacks initiative aimed at solving real world problems that exist in Kanata North. The Ottawa Climate Action Fund (OCAF) exists to catalyze and scale low-carbon solutions to their full potential in Ottawa.

Hackers will receive expert mentorship from leaders in the tech park, free foodand refreshments, and the top three winning groups will be rewarded a CASH PRIZE.

This event occurs in Kanata North, in person at Hub350 over 3 days:

Session One: Opening Ceremony, Guest Speaker, Start hacking! – October 1st
Session Two: Guest Speaker, Hacking & Snacking – October 8th
Session Three: Top 5 teams Live Pitch Event, Awards & Celebration – October 15th

You must be a current post-secondary student in Canada and able to attend in-person to participate. Students can register as a team of 4, or individually and be assigned to a team on October 1st.
