Mootaz Matraji is a first-year Bachelors of Economics student at Carleton University, currently registered in the Hatch program. He is the creator of Lumin-x Photos, a growing photography brand focused on capturing meaningful moments and bringing joy to people’s lives.

His passion lies in storytelling through portraits, events, and candid moments. In his free time, Mootaz enjoys listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with friends.

Through the Carleton Innovation Hub, he hopes to learn more about the business world, grow his brand, learn entrepreneurial skills, and connect with new clients while breaking into new photography niches. His ultimate goal is to build a successful photography business that creates lasting memories and genuine connections.
