Tamimi is a seasoned technology professional with over a decade of experience in software development, developer advocacy, and strategic consulting. He is currently a Senior Developer Advocate in R&D at Solace, where he drives creative competitive strategies and developer enablement to stay at the forefront of emerging trends in Event-Driven Architecture and enterprise technology.

Tamimi holds a Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) from the University of British Columbia, and a bachelors of Engineering from Carleton University. Passionate about mentorship, social impact, and business development, he serves as a member of the New Ventures Revenue Diversification Subcommittee at UBC and volunteers as an analyst with Plug & Play, providing insights to investment teams on emerging technologies and market trends.

Beyond his corporate role, Tamimi is deeply engaged in the startup ecosystem. He runs a technical consulting firm, advising startups on technology strategy and product development. He is also a longtime contributor to the tech communities in Ottawa and Vancouver, having held leadership roles, including Director of Partnership and Development at Connected Canadians and an advisory committee member at Kanata North Business Association (KNBA).
