David Perras

David is a third-year Industrial Design student at Carleton University completing his second undergraduate degree, his first being in Fine Arts at the University of Ottawa. Besides his artistic passion, He has developed an interest in all aspects of design including design research, prototyping, and creative problem solving through human-centered design. He and cofounder Zach Rodgers are working through the Hatch program to create an improved student Information System for post-secondary Institutions. Recruiting from their design skillsets, they wish to implement superior UX and UI practices informed through design research methods to create an intuitive, standardized student portal for universities.
