Mitacs Elevate is a postdoctoral fellowship with industry partners. As of March 31, 2025, Elevate will be closed for new applications. The final date to submit Elevate projects currently in development with a Mitacs Business Development Advisors is April 30th, 2025. No new Elevate applications will be accepted by Mitacs Business Development Advisors after March 31, 2025.
Going forward, the current Elevate program will be replaced with a $20k per IU ($60k per year) postdoctoral funding model within the current Mitacs Accelerate program (see Accelerate internship allocation). New submissions will be subject to Carleton University’s 2025-2026 fiscal year allocation limits.
