The International Student Newsletter is sent to undergraduate and graduate international students enrolled in one or more course at Carleton University every second Wednesday. We look forward to connecting with you!

International Students Traveling to Canada

Any student who is traveling to Canada needs to connect with our International Student Services Office (ISSO) so that we can assist with keeping you up to date on travel restrictions and quarantine requirements.  Students are required to complete our online Quarantine Planning and Support form in advance of travels.

Students should monitor the entrance requirements for their destination to avoid travel delays. Please visit the Government of Canada’s page for international students to confirm current travel restrictions before travelling to Canada. Our ISSO will continue to update our Current Travel Information webpage with important news updates and resource links to help you stay informed.

Winter Term Begins - The ISSO is Here to Help!

As many international students are looking forward to traveling to Carleton for the winter, be sure to connect with our International Student Services Office (ISSO) to stay up to date on travel and quarantine requirements. In addition to live information sessions where you can receive direct responses from our immigration experts, we recommend reviewing our Quarantine Planning Support website resource in full to be prepared for arriving to Carleton and stay up-to-date on what is required for eventual return to campus including what is involved with screening and attestation of vaccination requirements.  After booking your travel plans to Canada, international students (regardless of vaccination status) must complete the Pre-Arrival Planning and Support form to seek additional support and guidance with their quarantine planning process. Be sure to connect with us with any questions you may have by email isso@carleton.ca or check out our up-to-date COVID-19 FAQ website
