As you may have heard, starting July 1st administration of Latin American and Caribbean Studies (LACS) unit has moved to the Department of History. Mark Anderson, a historian formerly based at the University of Regina, has moved to Carleton and has been assigned a faculty position in LACS. Welcome Mark! As part of that position, Mark will be teaching two half courses in the LACS programme (LACS 1001 and LACS 4001). He will also act as the administrator of the programme. Having a faculty member dedicated to developing the programme is extremely important to the future success of LACS. Here is a link to Mark’s site: https://carleton.ca/history/people/mark-anderson/ .
