Professor
I have a PhD from the University of London and have worked on international human rights since 1996.
My professional experience includes work for universities in Canada and Ireland, Canadian federal government and parliament, and a national non-governmental organization.
I am a member of the Board of Directors and the Program Committee for Equitas: International Centre for Human Rights Education. I am a Monitoring Committee member (and former board member) of the Canadian Coalition for the Rights of Children and Advisory Committee member of the Landon Pearson Resource Centre for the Study of Childhood and Children’s Rights, at Carleton University. I also serve as an Editorial Board member for Canadian Journal for Children’s Rights . I am an active member of The International Child Protection Network of Canada (ICPNC), where I belong to three separate working groups: monitoring and evaluation, children and work, and child participation.
