Céline has worked in international development cooperation, refugee protection and humanitarian action for the last 15 years. She has been Oxfam-Québec’s humanitarian manager since 2014, coordinating public engagement, institutional funding and advocacy initiatives to strengthen Oxfam’s responses to crises in the Middle East, West Africa and Latina America. Prior to that (2007-2013) Céline worked with UNHCR in various protection-related capacities in Jordan, Burundi, Ecuador and at the agency’s headquarters in Geneva. Previously, she collaborated on human rights campaigns and corporate social responsibility initiatives with the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation, Human Rights Watch and the World Organisation Against Torture.
Céline holds a Master Degree in International Relations (Political Science) from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, and a bachelor’s degree in International Development and Philosophy from McGill University. She is the mother and step-mother of three boys.
