Hayley works at the Centre for Refugee Studies at York University in Toronto on the LERRN Partnership Grant, helping to communicate and share LERRN’s projects and activities to the wider York University Community, and beyond.
Living in a city as diverse as Toronto, Hayley is interested to learn more about Canada’s role in supporting migrants and refugees. She believes Canada has an important part to play in developing research on refugee experiences, both locally and through collaboration with partners in the Global South.
Hayley has a degree in Urban Systems/Geography from McGill University, and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of British Columbia.
