“Although the LERRN Project is an initiative part of the Department of Political Science and I am a Communication and Media Studies major, the LERRN Project sparked my interests. During my interview, it immediately appeared to be very unique, in the way that it is a multi-national project with various partners, all across the globe, coming together in efforts to combat the refugee crisis. I wanted to contribute my knowledge of communications to such an impactful initiative. As well as to be able to be part of starting something great, knowing the communications role would be crucial in jumpstarting the project.”
