Studying and advocating for individuals at multiple diversifying intersections in the workplace is essential to recognizing and acknowledging the lived experiences of communities that are underrepresent. Similarly, leadership styles have demonstrated as being major predictors of individual outcomes, such as job satisfaction, job-related affective well-being, and motivation to lead. As such, my research interests concern the promotion of individual and organizational outcomes pertaining to employees that identify as having an impairment. I am passionate about understanding the dynamics of leadership and how leaders and organizations can promote positive health outcomes for individuals with disabilities that allow this cohort to thrive in the workplace.
