Canada Day Weekend 2018- What’s Open and Closed at Carleton University

Carleton University is officially closed on Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2. However, some facilities continue to operate throughout the Canada Day long weekend.

Please note closures or reduced hours of operation below.

MacOdrum Library:

Friday: Open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 30: closed
Sunday, July 1: closed
Monday, July 2: closed
Tuesday, July 3: reopens at 8 a.m.

Dining Services:

The Caf in Residence Commons:
Saturday, June 30, Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2:
Open 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. (Breakfast); 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Lunch); 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Dinner)

Athletics Reduced Holiday Hours:

Saturday, June 30: Closed
Sunday, July 1 & Monday, July 2:
Fitness Centre: Open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Pool: Holiday Swim from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (all other swims cancelled)
Fitness Classes: Cancelled
Adult Leagues: Cancelled
