Carleton Experts Available: Ontario Sexual Education Curriculum

Following the announcement that the Ontario government will be repealing the 2015 sexual education curriculum, Carleton experts are available to comment.

Bromwich is the program director for the Graduate Diploma in Conflict Resolution. She is a per diem Crown attorney with the Ministry of the Attorney General in Ottawa. Bromwich has been a columnist for the Lawyers Weekly and has authored and co-authored several books for students and legal system practitioners, including lawyers, paralegals and police.

Hannah Dick

Dick’s research focuses on the intersections of media, politics and religion. She is available to comment on how religious politics are shaping the Ontario sexual education policy decision.

 

Marika Morris
Adjunct Research Professor, School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies

Morris is a researcher in the areas of gender equality and the reduction of gender-based violence. Her expertise includes research on topics of gender, diversity and inclusion in public policy; women’s leadership and collaborative leadership models; and the dynamics of social change. Morris is the parent of a student in the Ontario school system and has written on this issue previously.
