Carleton University’s READ Initiative Hosts ENABLE Ottawa 2021: Innovations in Assistive and Adaptive Technologies

May 25, 2021

Carleton University’s Research, Education, Accessibility and Design (READ) Initiative is hosting a free, three-day online conference forum, ENABLE Ottawa 2021: Innovations in Assistive and Adaptive Technologies, during National Accessibility Week.

When: June 1 to June 3, 2021
Registration and Additional Information: www.enableottawa.ca.

Note: Journalists who wish to attend must be registered.

The forum will explore how the changing world of assistive and adaptive technologies and design is contributing to the creation of universally accessible experiences.

Now in its sixth year, the event provides an inclusive setting for researchers, practitioners, exhibitors, end-users, presenters and other participants to share better practices in a virtual conference setting.

In 2020, ENABLE Ottawa went virtual, hosting cross-sectoral attendees from communities of accessibility professionals, allies and people with lived experience from across the country. This year the virtual event will provide a wide range of opportunities for engagement.

A cross-section of accessibility allies from the not-for-profit, public and private sector, universities and individuals with disabilities will present at the event.

ENABLE Ottawa is organized with the support of:
