What’s Open and Closed: Victoria Day Weekend

Carleton University is officially closed on Monday, May 20 and reopens on Tuesday, May 21. Some major facilities continue to operate throughout Victoria Day; however, please note reduced hours in some cases.

Dining Services

On Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, all dining locations will maintain their normal hours of operation.

On Monday, May 20, all dining locations are closed, with the exception of The Caf which will maintain normal hours of operation.

MacOdrum Library

The library will be open on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Chat service will be closed.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 20, chat service will also be closed.

Athletics

Fitness Centre

The fitness centre will be open on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The fitness centre will have holiday hours on Monday, May 20 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All CUFit and instructional classes are cancelled on Monday, May 20.

Pool

On Saturday, May 18, there will be a recreational swim from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

On Sunday, May 19, there will be women’s only recreational swim from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and a recreational swim from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. The recreational swim from 9:15 to 10:25 p.m. is cancelled.

On Monday, May 20, there will be a holiday recreational swim from 1:30 to 4 p.m.  All other swims on are cancelled.

Ice House

The Ice House arenas remain closed for annual maintenance.

Norm Fenn Gym will be open for rentals and Carleton leagues on Saturday and Sunday. It will be closed Monday.
