Thursday, June 12th Arctic Council Thinkshops

The School of Public Policy and Administration is currently running a policy seminar focused on the Arctic Council.  As part of this policy seminar, a series of guests have been invited to speak about the work of the Arctic Council and engage in discussion with the students.

This Thursday, June 12th, 2014, our guest will be Russel Shearer, Vice-Chair of the Arctic Council’s Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme Working Group (AMAP) and Director of the Northern Science and Contaminants Research Directorate at Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, who will speak to us about the work of AMAP.

With the permission of the students participating in the seminar, I would like to extend an invitation to students, faculty and staff, who are interested in joining us.

The session will take place from 2:35 until 5:25pm in the St. Patrick’s Building (Rm 412).

Space is limited, so if you are interested in attending please contact me at Jennifer.spence@carleton.ca.

We look forward to having you join us.
