Donna Patrick is Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University. Her research interests are in linguistic anthropology, with a focus on the Arctic and circumpolar world and Indigenous languages and peoples in Canada. Her work centers around Participatory Action Research (PAR), political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of language use; language rights and policy; Indigenous language resurgence, education, and critical literacies.
