The Capstone Project provides professional experience for students of the Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program and provides important research in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector. Students work in teams with nonprofit organizations to conduct research for three months on issues relevant to those organizations.
It’s Time to Go
“It’s Time to Go: A Self-Guided Workbook to Assist with Nonprofit Organizational Closure” (Jan. 2021) is a Capstone Project by Uzma Gilani, Praan Misir, Shane Norris and Ellie Sabourin for the Muttart Foundation.
Using findings and lessons from Canadian nonprofit leaders who faced difficult decisions, this workbook helps to end a program or close an entire organization.
