Intimate Partner Violence Support Webpage Launch
Carleton has launched a new Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Support webpage designed to provide students, faculty and staff with quick access to information, resources and support services.
The webpage brings together Carleton resources and external supports in a single, streamlined location, making it easier for community members to find help for themselves or others. Recognizing that safety is paramount, the page also includes a Quick Exit button, allowing visitors to leave the site immediately and redirect to another webpage if needed.
A Collaborative Effort
The launch of the Intimate Partner Violence Support (IPV) Support webpage is the result of a collaborative effort across the university and fulfills a commitment established during the last completed round of collective bargaining between the university and CUPE 2424. Originally raised by CUPE 2424 and aligned with work underway in Human Resources, this initiative was advanced through a joint committee established during bargaining, engaging stakeholders across the institution to develop a resource that is now ready to share. As this resource continues to evolve, the committee is seeking input from individuals with expertise in intimate partner violence prevention, response and support to help strengthen and expand the content over time.
Creating a safe, supportive and informed campus community is a shared responsibility, and this new resource is an important step in that work.
