Residence Move-In Traffic Impacts
Residence Move In Weekend officially runs from Sept. 3 to 6, 2026, with limited early move-ins for upper-year students taking place on Sept. 1 and 2.
Expect traffic congestion at the Bronson entrance and residence precinct as over 4,000 students arrive on campus.
Parking lot 15 and the south end of lot 6 will be temporarily closed during these days for unloading only. Lot 17 will remain closed for ongoing construction. Lot 7 will remain open for parking at the north sections (C & D).
Library Road between the Mackenzie Building and Minto CASE will be closed and restricted to local traffic only between Sept. 3 through 6.
OC Transpo will reroute buses to University Drive during move-in hours.
