The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) has applied and the members of the Carleton University Postdoctoral Association (CUPA) have voted to transfer jurisdiction from CUPA to PSAC. Through its application, PSAC is requesting that the Ontario Labour Relations Board declare that PSAC has acquired the rights, privileges and duties of CUPA under the Ontario Labour Relations Act, by reason of a transfer of jurisdiction. Once this has been reviewed by the Board and the declaration is issued, PSAC will then act as the Union for the Postdoctoral Fellows going forward.
