There are two full-time postdoc positions available in the new lab of Dr. Sarah Hedtrich in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia. The expected start date is Deb-April, 2019.

Research project 1 aims to deliver macromolecules into epithelial tissues (focus lung & skin) and to establish genetic engineering approaches for the treatment of severe monogenic diseases. Applicants must, therefore, have extensive knowledge and experience of targeted genome editing and biomolecular lab techniques. Research experience with skin, lung, or topical drug delivery will be considered strong assets.

Research project 2 aims to establish novel regenerative approaches for fibrotic conditions. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience in biomolecular lab techniques. A background in tissue engineering or fibrotic diseases will be considered strong assets.
