Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital’s research institute (the Bloorview Research Institute) is now accepting submissions for the prestigious 2020 Pursuit Award competition that recognizes outstanding achievements in childhood disability research by PhD students across the globe.

The Pursuit Award competition recognizes PhD students that are working to improve the lives of kids and youth with disabilities. Each year we receive a number of high caliber applications for applicants worldwide who demonstrate excellence and innovation in science and challenge the borders of childhood disability research.

Finalists are chosen based on significance of research results, methodological rigor, empirical content, and impact on childhood disability care.

Current PhD students (no more than six months away from defence), postdoctoral fellows, and recent graduates (within one year of receiving their PhD) who completed their PhD in applied or clinical childhood disability research, are eligible to apply.

The application deadline is February 21, 2020 at 5:00pm EST.
